Scouting

Scouting is a great program for kids, an opporunity for young adults, and a calling for a few of us.

I am an Assistant Scoutmaster of  Boy Scout Troop 186, Committe Chair for Cub Scout Pack 186, and I participate in a number of Scouting and Scouter activities.  I have planned innumerable Den meetings, songs, and skits.  I have taught and advised, and sometimes even helped a few young men in their struggle to learn leadership.  I have tied knots, started fires, and even made coffee at nine degrees below zero.  And I wouldn't trade it for anything.
